Sustainability wonks will have their plates full this week.
Not only does the Northwest Environmental Business Council’s Future Energy Conference promise a bevy of informative speakers Tuesday and Wednesday (disclosure: SBO is a program sponsor), The Northwest Food Processors Association is holding its Sustainability Summit on April 17.
The third annual event will convene food processing companies, experts in environmental and energy matters and industry partners who’ll all crunch ways to promote a sustainable industry.
The group is targeting:
- Environmental, energy and sustainability directors and managers.
- Plant managers, facilities engineers and maintenance managers.
- Leaders of lean and sustainability initiatives.
- Industrial efficiency providers.
The event takes place at downtown Portland’s World Trade Center.
