SAIC gets $21M biomass contract (Washington, D.C.)
McLean-based Science Applications International Corp. will help the Department of Energy keep an eye on biomass projects that the agency is helping fund.
The five-year contract for SAIC's R.W. Beck subsidiary has a maximum value of $21 million.
DOE is partially funding with grants the design, construction and operation of 18 ethanol biorefinery pilot and demonstration projects.
